I am a beginning fly tier and I was wondering what are some good flies to tie for beginners?

If you fish for most any freshwater species, a Woolly Bugger is a great start. Supplies are easy to find and the learning about proportion and technique can begin. Purchase an easy to read book with lots of illustrations for step by step. Online videos and step by step written are a great help also. Let us know if you have any questions as you progress. There are tons of great tiers on the site.
