Paraloop Olive Emerger

Hook
TMC 2487 #18,20
Thread
8/0 Uni-thread Loive Dun
Body
Stripped peacock quill
Post
Grey Kevlar thread
Thorax
Light Olive Superfine Dub
Hackle
Natural Dun wound around post

Very effective pattern during a BWO hatch. After tying this fly I sit it in water to make sure the body is sitting below the surface. I use Water Shed treatment on the paraloop to aid in floating the thorax. If the body sits below the surface this fly is very successful in clear water on wary browns. If your interested in this fly and some tips on tying it, message me and I'll be glad to help.

good fly

I tie this with a little piece of brown Z-lon as a shuck at the bend it is much more productive to those wary browns....but without it also very good
