The Supervisor Streamer fly is said to be a creation of Warden Supervisor Joseph Stickney and Tied by Carrie Stevens. Stickney is also famous for the creation of the Warden's Worry and other popular east coast streamers. Carrie Stevens is of course famous for numerous streamer patterns she created. I saw a variety of recipes and patterns for this fly and chose to use a variation by an extremely talented tier, Mike Boyer. His variation calls for green dyed mallard flank feathers for the shoulders.

One of the true classics. I tie this fly with bucktail. a great streamer for fishing lake inlets in the spring for LandLocked Salmon.
