Description:
Originaly dressed for the salt, to copy a Red Gurnard.. a fish we catch a lot of off the coast.. other predators also catch a lot of them..It was dressed on a long shank hook.. this version is for stillwater rainbows.. but I wonder would it do where Cutthroats, Dolly Varden, char etc are present???? Have'nt tried it on Rivers yet.... The underwing is constructed by using black and orange foxtail fibres.. mixed, the black are shorter than the orange and only extend to the end of the body.. The orange extend out and above the tail, to just beyond the end of the tail...The Mallard overwing extends to cover the orange underwing.
