Spring Salmon fly for the Miramichi River and drainage system. Original pattern is tied with light olive. The blue is an extremely productive colour in early Spring when the water is high and coloured.
This series of flies was created by Marc Madore of Blackville, NB a Canadian master fly tyer known all over North America and Europe.
I tied this fly last Spring and landed many Salmon and trout with it.
Any colour combination using 3 Marabou feathers ,tinsel and gills are the basic componants for this pattern.
The collar and cheeks of Jungle cock are optional additions.
